Watching that last night reminded me why I both love and hate international soccer. The officials were pathetic to say the least.

Need to follow last night with a result on Saturday. A negative one and the calls for Big Sam will be back. Heroic performance, signs of a team able to play a bit of ball and a young average age bodes well. Ireland have been known to let me down, however.

Yeah that was a serious kick in the balls. That being said it's the most promise the Ireland squad has shown in a long time.

I'm baffled by Kenny's starting lineup today tbh, he put a squad together on Wednesday that competed against Portugal, and then chopped and changed the squad and formation today.

McGrath didn't even get a lookin despite being of the best players on Wednesday, Parrott isn't proven at any level never mind starting in International football, McClean shouldn't even be on the squad.

I just don't get it, there's a decent squad in there somewhere but he seems to think you have to give every single player their game.
