Ah jaysus lads the punditry on English speaking channels is gone to the dogs. Can't speak to the foreign ones because I don't know what they're saying but the stuff I can understand is all so fucking sterile. We just can't appreciate how lucky we were with Dunphy Brady Giles and the bould Bill O. I mean they were still talking shite but it was quality talking shite. I like Hamann but he needs an oul Souness or something at the same time to get it going. I'm obviously talking about the Irish stuff but the BBC with Lineker and Shearer and the likes are mock as well as well as the sky lads and it's all diversity with the women and all that whatever but could nobody find a woman or man who is even slightly entertaining? It's as if all the pundits are ai and set to boring mode.  Like to be fair, yer one doing the O'Herlihy here isn't bad at all with the cues but Kevin Doyle and the one here with him are like 2 bits of sodden timber

 Ah I haven't watched RTE coverage since those main men left, mostly watch the ITV coverage now 'cos of Keane but you're right it's all so anodyne and bland now that going to the kettle or the fridge at half-time will usually provide more stimulation. And don't get me started on the female invasion . ITV have this American doll they bring in now as a 'VAR expert' and it really is boot through the tv stuff. Jesus Christ how many more boxes need ticking?
