Speaking of which, here's a playlist of one of his albums

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hX4_krGL8Zc&list=PLNCJBXC1Dsts1W4zcl6BM8MFtndh6quZA

Artist: Alessandro Cortini
Album: Avanti
Year: 2017
Genre: ambient, drone

Any of this fella's stuff is great

This stuff is great!

Just listening to that now myself, great stuff indeed. Gave this a spin last night, Iranian trip-hop/electronic buzz (though I think she's based in Amerikay):

She's Dutch as far as I know.... and yes, brilliant.

Sigur Ros lite, but closer to their peak than they are these days:

Probably familiar to a lot of ye already, seems to be a large crossover, but if not, this and their subsequent releases definitely changed my life. Revisiting there now after a while not hearing it, and it's just fucking brilliant.

Exmilitary for me is their best release by far although I haven't listened to Year of the Snitch (2018) yet.
Is it any good?

It's no Exmilitary, but I like it. Definitely more along the fucked rabbit hole they went, and a lot dreamier than Exmilitary, etc. If it was the punch that drew you in originally, it probably won't do it for you.

Black Paint might be the most direct off it, heavy and sludgy.

I've slowly started exploring the enormous discography of Klaus Schulze (early member of Tangerine Dream), and stumbled upon this nugget for DcD fans:

From his other stuff, this is the one that's grabbed me the most so far, but if there are any connoisseurs here I'd be happy to have recommendations:

Another classic covered in your favourite style lads...

No albums to recommend with this, but just came across this podcast with Mat McNerney from DHG/Code/Hexvessel/Beastmilk.

It's 10 of his favourite tracks, discussed and played over 2 hours. Worth the recommendation here, as all his choices are non metal but there's bands like Dead Can Dance, Coil etc. in there which I know a few here are into.

He's pretty enjoyable to listen to when speaking about music, as I found also when he was on Alan Averill's podcast recently. All the songs are played in full too as it's on MixCloud.

Nice, will listen to that one and share with some heads too. Didn't know he had been on AA's podcast; might be enough to tempt me to have a listen! I don't know what it actually consists of, but he advertises it on FB as a kind of vocalization of the PC and offended thread here...

First Enigma album.
Can still remember the feeling I had while listening to this album repeatedly during the night, after more than 10 hours driving in the van alone.
It was practically a religious experience.

It started out different. There's some good episodes solely focused on Primordial albums, as well as other metal related episode, some history ones. I stopped listening then when it became this anti lockdown 6 parter, was insufferable to listen to.

Listening to Audios Nil By Mouth Ep for the DnB heads. Highly recommend the tremendously dark Gotham track:
