Speaking of which, here's a playlist of one of his albums

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hX4_krGL8Zc&list=PLNCJBXC1Dsts1W4zcl6BM8MFtndh6quZA

Artist: Alessandro Cortini
Album: Avanti
Year: 2017
Genre: ambient, drone

Any of this fella's stuff is great

This stuff is great!

Just listening to that now myself, great stuff indeed. Gave this a spin last night, Iranian trip-hop/electronic buzz (though I think she's based in Amerikay):

Sigur Ros lite, but closer to their peak than they are these days:

Probably familiar to a lot of ye already, seems to be a large crossover, but if not, this and their subsequent releases definitely changed my life. Revisiting there now after a while not hearing it, and it's just fucking brilliant.

Exmilitary for me is their best release by far although I haven't listened to Year of the Snitch (2018) yet.
Is it any good?

It's no Exmilitary, but I like it. Definitely more along the fucked rabbit hole they went, and a lot dreamier than Exmilitary, etc. If it was the punch that drew you in originally, it probably won't do it for you.

Black Paint might be the most direct off it, heavy and sludgy.

I've slowly started exploring the enormous discography of Klaus Schulze (early member of Tangerine Dream), and stumbled upon this nugget for DcD fans:

From his other stuff, this is the one that's grabbed me the most so far, but if there are any connoisseurs here I'd be happy to have recommendations:
