I don't know whether you'd count Kirk and Rob's 'doodle' (fucking hell) as a song but it's certainly a dud.

That stretch from King Nothing until they play Orion is barren, fuck me.

Basically all of those songs are set-staples, bar Orion and Leper Messiah, but they've toured MOP in full before too. Had a hit of FOMO yesterday but I'll survive not seeing that.

How/why is Fuel still always played?

Sound was very wishy washy throughout. Got in half way through Pantera was raging about that.

Band were tight I thought, Hatfield sounded good, start off strong and ended strong but yeah 72 seasons stuff was very meandering and the doodle stuff is cringe, I do zone out on the Metallica family stuff  ;D the duds mentioned I'd be a bit more generous and say I don't mind hearing 2-3 of them live.

Battery, Leper Messiah and Master were highlights for me.

Apparently Diageo/Guinness are pricks about needing Guinness branding on the disposable cups, could be something to do with that

I got the blood donation T-shirt as I didn't platelets, will pass it on to a friend one they show me proof of a donation  ;D

What's the deal with the blood donation shirt?

I think they were just using plain plastic cups with nothing on them. Didn't even bother with pints after seeing the queues and then noticing they didn't even have the cups. I wanted to bring a few home I saw pictures of a really nice 72 seasons style one.

If I get a chance to go to the shop ill try to get some as they were only €5 at the previous pop up shows.

Saw the setlist there, 9 decent songs, 7 duds. Not a great average for the ticket price.

I really can't understand the fascination with that song. It's a shite version. It'll be full of 'ole ole ole' chants when they knock it out.

One song from Ride the Lightning? That's grim, hopefully they're keeping them for Sunday

Was great to get a couple of newer tracks and thr death magnetic songs were cool too. I dunno think the bigger the gig the louder the moaning here,  like your not kvlt if you admit to enjoying a big show

Sound. 8 good ones, one grand one, two I could do with never hearing again but have been staples since I first saw them, and the rest all tracks I've heard once but have no memory of. About what's to be expected. If the performance is good, still a set that could make a decent overall concert.

Started well, turned cuntish for the full middle section, Orion redeemed it only for Nothing Else Matters to kill it again, good end.

Pantera-esque were a buzz.

Leper Messiah, 72 Seasons, If Darkness Had A Son, the 'doodle', The Day That Never Comes, Cyanide and Nothing Else Matters. That's a lot of piss break material in a 15/16 song set.

Aye middle 6 songs were woeful. Start and end were bang on. Orion was fucking deadly.

Quote from: HeartWorm on June 20, 2026, 08:54:01 AMI was in a pretty decent seat and the sound was great. Was a bit muffled for the Pantera vocals but there's loads online complaining that the sound was piss poor. For the money being charged that's ridiculous. You'd hope it will be sorted for the Sunday gig.

On Reddit (:-X) people were saying that the sound has improved on night two for other gigs. I saw them in Munich in 24 and it was fantastic both nights, even during the support.

It was a very basic stadium though. There's not all the shite the Aviva has to reflect sound. Edit: I misremembered. It has a kind of awning to cover a bunch of seats, too. Still seems way more open  than the Aviva, though.

You'd think they'd dial in the sound during sound check...

I thought the setlist was deadly. The only problem is shortening it to 15 songs from 16 (but that's been like that for over a year) and the 72 seasons songs. But IDHAS is still a banger off that album.

The whole point of these shows is you get more deep cuts. Cyanide and Leper Messiah are great adds, for example.

It does kinda spoil the potential setlist for night two when you know all the songs they CAN'T play. There's only about 20 songs I reckon they could even play tomorrow.

Listing Leper Messiah as a dud but not Fuel is certainly a choice!

People complaining about the sound it's a football stadium not designed for music,I thought it was a brilliant concert except for the doodle ( WTF) Robert's voice was shocking safer if they had just cut that out it sort of spoiled the middle of the show but got back on track.
