"Two-night tickets for Dublin's Aviva Stadium on 19 & 21 June cost from €121.25 to €261.25, subject to Ticketmaster charges. Concerts are subject to licence."

Pantera and Gojira are decent supports.
Much better than Bokassa and Ghost at Slane.

Amazing lineup. It'll be a brilliant weekend I'm gonna do the both nights

I wonder how many two-day tickets will actually exist for €120. I'll talk shit about modern Metallica all day but they're always fun live and both days support is worth seeing. Can't see a world where I'm not at both nights.

With the in-the-round setup not sure if I'd rather sit for this

Acoustic Mike Leather secret support slot IN THE ROUND.

No interest in this myself but if anyone, not from Dublin, is considering going to this - try to find and book a hotel now.

The Bloomsday Festival is the same week - not that you'll have that much crossover in terms of fandom but I had a pain in the hole trying to find a hotel for work during Bloomsday and anywhere decent/reasonable was booked out with Americans wanting to wear straw boater hats and eat cheese in Davy Byrnes.

I've seen a few people giving out about the setup, things like you could be up close to the stage and see nothing because they've all walked off to the other side, or looking at the band with their backs turned

I'll probably take a look at seating once there's an idea of the layout

Can I go whatever night they don't have whisky in the jar in the set?

Gojira would be the only draw for me and I'm not pushed enough about seeing them to pay Metallica prices. The 'in the round' set up wouldn't be for me either. Last time I saw them was on the Load/Reload tour in the Point, they had that set up and it wasn't great, this looks to be a bigger version of that.
