Pantera were great craic. Still what I'd give to see the original line up. Metallica apart from the middle 4 or 5 songs were bangin. Great atmosphere.

Pantera were great.Quality set.
Metallica started brilliantly with the first 4 tracks. The 72 seasons tunes were decent but lost momentum. As for the butchered version of 'black rose' i won't say anymore.Great to hear Battery,Harvester Of Sorrow and Orion live.Looking forward to Sunday.

Jiminy Cricket, those cunts. I remember singing along to a 70s AC/DC tune in Punchestown back in 2009 and had some lad ask me with genuine wonder who I knew the words to that song.

Me cousin (who's a big music head but not into metal) was at it, and he sent on the Serlist FM link...

It absolutely peaked with Leper Messiah, and that was the third song.

Annoying as fuck that everything was pushed forward with no warning. Expected to have at least a half hour to piss about before Pantera came on when we got there but instead they were 4 songs into the set.

Pantera were fine but I am fed up with them playing the same songs I won't be bothering going to see them again until they change the setlist. Funny to hear Phil saying what I mentioned earlier about so many people at these shows not even knowing who Pantera are.

Metallica were good. I haven't heard anything after St. Anger so I didn't know a lot of the songs. I will admit some of the new songs didn't sound as bad as I expected. It's a shame they've no decent support on Sunday.

Nothing else matters got the best reaction of the night which tells you all you need to know about the type of people that were there. James whole Metallica family speech's are cringy especially when you remember the Ticketmaster scandal they were involved in a few years ago and him refusing to do the meet and greets.

No Metallica cups either for the drinks I wonder what the deal with that is since they seem to have had them at every other show.

I got caught out by them shifting everything forward, too. Was gutted when I realised I was going to miss almost all of Pantera's set, but then when I got in, the sound was pretty poor so I got myself a beer and some food instead.

It surprised me how many people were milling about outside the stadium not worried in the slightest that they were missing Pantera. I guess some people legitimately weren't that familiar with them.

Thought setlist for the first night was great. Agree it lost momentum with the 72 seasons tracks and the Rob & Kirk doodle is just nonsense, but I like the 2 death magnetic tracks and the first 4 opening was very strong. Awesome to hear Leper Messiah.

Apparently Diageo/Guinness are pricks about needing Guinness branding on the disposable cups, could be something to do with that

I got the blood donation T-shirt as I didn't platelets, will pass it on to a friend one they show me proof of a donation  ;D

The Metallica family stuff is fuckin cringe.I must see if my family will pay 270 euro for the pleasue of 2 evenings in my company.

I was in a pretty decent seat and the sound was great. Was a bit muffled for the Pantera vocals but there's loads online complaining that the sound was piss poor. For the money being charged that's ridiculous. You'd hope it will be sorted for the Sunday gig.

Someone on the Irish Metal Heads Facebook moaning now that Whiskey should be played both nights  :)

It shouldn't be played any night.

Saw the setlist there, 9 decent songs, 7 duds. Not a great average for the ticket price.

Can someone paste the setlist for an aul lazy prick?
