Sorted a few Front Standing via that MCD presale so happy days.

Haven't seen Maiden since 2017 so a bit overdue!

My young lad is 4 - looking forward to hopefully bringing him to a gig but it'll be waaaay down the line

Feck they'd want to be 12 or more really, there's always a lot of walking at these gigs , plus if you want to get midway up they'd want to be able to take a schlap

I'm guessing the front standing are the pit tickets?

Went on this morning and there was just general standing available

Front standing tickets were only a fiver more than the general standing so not surprised they are gone, I got mine in the MCD presale yesterday.

I assume there will be more front standing released when the general sales begins in an hour.

Given that it's only a fiver more I imagine the front standing section is massive? Probably more like front half of the field rather than a pit/gold circle.

Is this actually sold out? Doesn't seem to be anything on Ticketmaster.

Seems so. I have a spare regular standing ticket if someone wants it, let me know. Just looking for the price I paid for it.

Wow that's a surprise. I thought there'd be a few tickets left even on the day.

I'd recommend checking Ticketmaster every now and again. When I tried getting a ticket on the day of release, all the Front Standing tickets had already been sold in the pre-sale. :( Over the following weeks, I checked Ticketmaster about once a week and eventually (just over a month ago), I saw Front Standing tickets become available. I was going to be in town the following day and I was lucky enough to get my ticket from the good people in The Soundcellar.  :)

Front Pit standing tickets available on Ticketmaster right now. Not resale so just normal price. In case anyone has missed out, now is the time to bag them.

Nice one!

Ah sound, picked up a Front Standing there - never been to Malahide for a gig, is that a sort of pit/separate section? When you click on the site layout on TM it just shows you a pic of the band, very helpful altogether.

Feels like a silly question but things with tickets have changed so much over the last few years, I just want to check - I have a gold circle, mate of mine has a normal standing. At Malahide Castle, does my gold circle ticket work for both regular standing AND gold circle? I know at Ac/Dc in Wembley - one entrance on the left led to regular standing and the other entrance on the right led to Gold Circle, dont think you could come out of it with the way the layout was and just wondering is that a new a thing nowadays or just a one off?

Usually when it's just a big field like this you get a wrist band allowing you access to the Gold circle but you're allowed out the sides and can access the general standing area to get to the merch and bars at the back - but I haven't been to Malahide with this setup so don't know for sure.
