Ah ha ha. He's some man to be fair though.

He's surely got enough tucked away at this stage in his life to just retire and play golf or something.

What are these evening with shows actually like? Is it the fella doing a live interview, or just reading bits of his book and a bit of q&a?

Will read the book or listen to the audible (as it's read by Nicko) but have no interest in these book tours personally. Feel like not long ago these happened and were free now they're €45 and there's a presale.

Nicko very charismatic though and a storyteller so I'm sure it'll be good, just wouldn't be bothered heading into town for it.

Assuming it's the same format as Bruce's book tour it's a one man show. Expand on a few stories from or related to the book with a few photos on a projector, then there's an interval and the second half is pretty much reading out and answering audience submitted questions.
