Øxn was more of a swing and a miss for me. There was talk about that here lately.

'Twas Øxn that brought me to Kim, via their set on Other Voices. I really enjoyed that and the album. I wouldn't mind another one.

The first Øxn set they did for Nollaig na Mban was class but wasn't into the album.

Yeah it was deadly I had it on a few times, same again though the album is fine but nothing really brought me back to it after a listen.

Obviously on about Radie rather than Katie. I half agree in so far as I don't want to listen to her outside of Lankum.

No,  I mean Katie. Never liked her voice either. Probably even worse than Radie to my ear. Or at least, differently annoying. Her voice reminds me of John Spillane and he sounds like a Morbeg. And so does she :D

It truly is. Would love an oul' Katie solo return in 2026. The "member of Oxn" tag would surely get her the springboard she deserves at this point.

Still cracks me up that my brother played guitar on parts of her first album but doesn't actually know which songs he's on
