Paddy Keenan - Poirt an Phíobaire. Nothing compares to uileann pipes being played by a true master.

Jesse Welles - Hell's Welles

Modern American folk singer, bit like a John Prine/Dylan-esque style. His lyrics are very on the nose, but still manage to have a lot of clever lines. Pretty much the musical version of the pet peeves and Trump threads from here.

Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds - Push the Sky Away

My favourite of the Bad Seed's more subdued albums. It's a masterpiece.

Some player all right, I have a few of his.  Have you heard Neil Mulligan – Barr Na Cúille or his other 2 albums also brilliant.

Davy Spillanes albums are like half time entertainment at a Fine Gael Ard Fheis in comparison.  Over produced, tablas and bongos and God knows what

I'll give Neil Mulligan a listen. Davy Spillane is shite; crystals and incense airy, fairy crap written with American tourists in mind!

Just heard this. Amazing. Better than anything Trent Reznor has done in years.

I think Ice T is my favourite rapper. I love his intense ghetto story songs like The Tower, Midnight, and Peel Their Caps back. OG is prob his best album, but I have a soft spot for Freedom of Speech.

He's definitely top three for me. Probably one of the best and most underrated runs from the debut to Home Invasion.

Including the first Body Count album!

Mighty

Edit: More than mighty, this is insanely good. I've only been a casual fan before this but this is seriously good, nor a dud in sight.
