Do Lidl to do any beers like Paulaner?,those kinda cloudy beers?

Aldi do Schöfferhofer which, even with it's cheap price-tag, is fairly bullet proof. They also do Spaten which is a helles style and well regarded in Germany.

Recently Aldi have also had Einseidler which is brewed in Chemnitz near enough the Czech border. It's a helles beer but the Czech influence is definitely apparent - liberal use of a biscuit malt in the grain bill. Kind of a Augustiner/Urquell hybrid.

I know that none of you asked for a lecture but fuck it.

I put one in this thread going back a few months ago and I'm more than willing to share other stories of fuck-acting.

I remember Hemlock on MI had a class one about trying to eat Jamón ham directly off the bone in a tent and losing a tooth.

Who knows, might cheer us up a bit.

Yeah just had a read of it there, and it put me in mind of a quick one sort of involving myself but I wasn't the victim.

A fella I knew and his bird were supping on a few cans with me in mine and they decided to head off to the nightclub. I wasn't in the form for that so I stayed home on the cans and tunes. Anyway yer man was fairly buckled heading off and his bird was already starting to give him shit over how bad he was. They lived out of town and I said I'd leave the back door open for them if they couldn't get a way home later just let yourselves in I'll leave blankets etc.

Next morning I get up no sign of either of them grand job they must have got a taxi. Around an hour later his woman calls down. Well how'd ye get on last night? says I. She tells me he is still in the cell down town. Turns out he was so polluted she told him where to go when he wasn't allowed in to the nightclub so he staggered back down to mine and in the back door. I was long gone to bed so he fell around the kitchen for a bit trying to see if there was any drink in the place and sat down at the table when he couldn't find any. Few minutes later he looks up and some woman he'd never seen before is telling him to get the fuck out of her house who is he what is he doing. In a full state of confusion he goes out the door, to be met 2 minutes later by the Gardai who do him the service of throwing him to the cell and charging him when he sobered up the next day.

Not your ideal Saturday night.

Just picked up 4 x Gulden Draak 9000 in Lidl, I find myself mostly buying online of craftcentral.ie, all cans and great selection of mostly IPA's and a lot of good Irish stuff,

Had an imperial stout from 8degrees last week, 11.2%, some of the stuff is pricey but they do have some good deals of 4 for 10 etc.

The Perlenbacher Weissbier is the business. Would be my go to cheap can, outside Guinness. Just make sure to have it chilled as it's fairly cuntish at room temp.
