Listening to interviews with Steve Von Till seems to put me in a good mood. He's such a fucking legend and so positive. I love his approach to his life work. It's not a career but an endless kind of quest, which is exactly what the underground ethos should be.

He seems like such a down to earth person. No bullshit about him, just endless gratitude for being able to do the thing he loves. One of the good ones without a doubt.

It was something like 'intent to deceive' as the charge. Facebook marketplace dispute, which when I was picked I was like for fuck sake this is gonna bore the tits off me but was really interesting actually. One guy sold a car to another guy that ended up being reported as stolen, so we had to workout if the seller was deceptive in the sale and had prior knowledge that he didn't have authority to sell. There was a bit more going on but that's the gist, a bunch of witnesses, arguments for and against. So was pretty cool to see first hand and there were some exciting revelations during the evidence. In the end I got outnumbered for a not guilty vote, the guy was a total piece of shit and I was adamant he was guilty but then couldn't really argue my case well enough with the evidence we were shown so he got off. He had a lot going on, cop giving evidence accidentally let slip he was involved in another burglary case and the defense lost it and made the jury leave the court room, parts were hectic.

Had 2 days in the waiting room aswell as a standby and I was just camped out on a couch listening to tunes and watching movies on my iPad. Wasn't needed today so just went to the cinema. Jury duty rules 

Well besides some of the absolute fucking mongs I was trapped in the jury room with for 2 days, some seriously insufferable cunts.

Should prob be in the pet peeves, but one of my greatest annoyances is how law has descended into the exploitation of loopholes rather than trying to prove the cunt is innocent...


It was 32 degrees here yesterday. A simple pleasure was finding a nice cool shady spot under a tree in a park to watch the world go by for a bit. A red-winged blackbird happened by, they make some cool calls. Plus a woodpecker heard off in the distance. Solid afternoon off!

Also my ma was just over visiting and brought me the care package from back home, so I have some back home chocolate/biscuits/treats etc to last me for a while.

Ah cans. I discovered Lech cans over the weekend. You can't go wrong with German or Polish swill. They're usually 5% or stronger, and are 500ml, not fucking 440.

Listening to my Angel Dust tape in the shed earlier on, and midway through Caffeine I heard a weird backwards version of Midnight Cowboy (I think) for a few seconds. The tape is a bit warped with age like myself.

This would have gone in the Pet Peeves section, but it put a smile on my face and took me back to being a teenager again when there was no streaming, and your day was ruined if the player ate one of your tapes.
