Down in Carlow for a wedding last night. Woke up hangin, but got a full Irish into us and then a lovely long stroll along the Barrow River that blew the cobwebs away beautifully. Absolutely perfect cure.

A full breakfast is the business, over the years though I tend to have them more as a treat than a regular thing, same for fish and chips

Than reminds me once again, black pudding, how can anyone not like it, especially if you buy good quality stuff, its class!!!

My butcher of choice recently won an award for its pudding, needless to say it's reet tasty. Black and/or whute pudding sandwich, that's the ticket.

Just here to give a shout out to black pudding as well

Fucking love it to bits

I'll jump on a black pudding bandwagon any day of the week. Mighty stuff  :abbath:

Absolutely love black pudding but haven't ate it in months.  Long story short, got the hard word on some diabolical blood pressure and had to cut out rakes of real lovely shit for a while lol.  On the plus side I have managed to lose about 15kg in two months or whatever it is and am back walking, hiking, etc etc.  On the downside, I nearly cry thinking about how bad I miss black pudding and jambons.  Ah the fuckin jambons jesus me auld buddies it just isn't the same without ye

On a mixed side of it, the two occasions I did go out lately, it took six pints for me to get ossified rather than the usual ten and cans.  Cheaper but less sport lol

I haven't had a jambon in years. What a thing of artery destroying beauty.

As a former veggie of 10 years, and still in the realms of 98% vegetarian diet, I'm drooling here thinking about some good black pud  :abbath:

Jambons, black pudding and hash browns are the 3 pillars of keeping me able to mid week drink

We just finished a carton of twelve eggs, ten of which were double-yolkers*  8)

*actual eggs, not pills.

You'll put some yolk out of you later today after eating 12 eggs in one go!

Just saw a huge barn owl near the house this evening. Always great to see them.
