Bandcamp.

Can flick through any app or site and there it is, playing away.

Master job

100% this. Was trying to listen to an album on YouTube that's not on regular streaming. Songs all around 2mins long and after every one was a fucking ad. Made the listening experience unbearable. Checked out Bandcamp and there it was. Listened to whole thing right through with no disruptions and the screen locked. Fuck YouTube . Hail Bandcamp.

Never mind the fact that after I heard the album and liked it I was able to immediately directly buy it. Better all round for artist and listener. Now if only it had the playlisting/community of Spotify.

I've used Bandcamp and VLC combined for over a decade for all my digital music - briefly tried Spotify and didn't like it, YouTube was alright when it wasn't ruined with ads.

The only thing Bandcamp is really missing is public playlists, on the app you can make your own but only of albums you own.  On the other side it is fairly handy to genre browse on there, also I'd read their own articles to find new music every now and again.

Their articles are excellent, usually feature really great stuff

In Montpellier for work, first time here and gotta say I love it: one of the biggest urban pedestrian zones in Europe and it's class.

Got called for Jury Duty. Always wanted to do it and I'll paid full wages. I have to be there at minimum a week. Although I've heard it's quite boring, I'll take that over work any week

I'm still buzzing off having a bit of a creative breakthrough the past couple of days. I feel energised and focused. I love when you get to that tipping point in a recording where it begins to get a shape in your head.

Install youtube revanced. I've been using it for years it's class. No ads, keeps playing outside app etc.

Seconded, it's a great job.

Garden cans all week with the weather! 'tis mighty.

While we were sorting the wasp problem (see Pet Peeves), I finally got around to doing the weeding around the front of the house. Fuckig roasting though, think I have a bit of sunburn, even though I was only at it for an hour or thereabouts.

That's some amount of moaning for a simple pleasure.

It is, every silver lining has a cloud.

Ask and you shall receive, it seems. Just received this

"Hi there,

We're excited to share Bandcamp Playlists (Beta) — a new way to create and share playlists using the music in your personal collection.

Craft a mix from the music you've purchased on Bandcamp, add a title and image, and share it with friends (or strangers from the internet). It's like a mixtape—but digital, personal, and powered by real support for artists.

Here's how it works:

Built from the music you've purchased
Personalized with your style and story
    Shared through a public link

We can't wait for you to try Bandcamp Playlists! Create your first playlist and share your feedback.

Thanks for being part of this. We can't wait to see (and hear) what you create. "

Add some of The Homeball to your playlists yiz cunts, I'm sick of working

I've had something similar. I started a job last year which, in the end, drained all the life and creativity out of me. I've been dry as a witch's tit for quite a while but I handed in my notice and, all of a sudden, as the stress fucks off, the ideas come back. It's a fucking beautiful feeling, I can feel the new music start to bubble up like it used to. I fucking wish I had piled money into the pension a lot more as a young lad so I could just fuck off and play music, instead of having to still deal with cunts for money. Still, the creativity is coming back and that's all that matters.
