Real butter in general is a wonderful thing even on a digestive biscuit, or even two of them so when I squeeze them the butter squeezes out of the holes in a rather satisfying way.

Ha, Rich Teas are the most hideously bland biscuit ever, but get that butter in between two and it's a whole other story

Amazingly bland and amazingly addictive, especially when dipped in tea.

A day off work and a nice stroll in a nearby botanic garden under the belt. I had the place to myself pretty much as well, which was an added bonus. Just slowly dithering about the place and taking it all in. Home now and starting into some grim new recording. What more could you ask for... a cup of tea.

Going out for a decent walk (10km) and only getting the urge to poop as soon as you get back home. Perfect timing.

I love pooing on company time.

Actually being able to flush the toilet properly again.

Being a very regular shitter is one of my own simple pleasures.

I'm in the goldilocks zone that way

Having good headphones again. My old Sennheisers, which I'd had for years, finally gave up the ghost late last year. I'd borrowed a basic pair of Sonys off the daughter to tide me over. Not bad at all, perfectly adequate.
Over Christmas I'd decided to treat myself. So, I picked up a pair of Sony WH-1000XM5s for a good price. Mother of God, they're so good !

My Sennheisers are over 10 years old and they're still going strong. Class headphones.

A decent pair of headphones really is a treat. I've a pair of open-back Sennheiser HD558 for almost 13 years now. Use them as my hi-fi headphones. A bit beat up looking, but I recently replaced the cable and they're otherwise still going strong.

Also have the Sony WH-1000XM3 over five years now. Don't actually wear them outside, but they're probably my favourite thing I own. Unreal for doing anything about the house, but didn't anticipate how much easier the noise cancellation makes listening to music, as I can hear it clearly at a much lower volume and that makes it much less fatiguing, especially for long periods.

If you haven't already, do yourself a favour and install the Sound Connect app (you can skip the account set-up entirely) as it makes them highly customisable. And if your phone supports LDAC, use that for your connection.

Just commenting here to remember those phones ye are on about lads. I could do with something with a bit more welly than the sennheisers I have, which are great for mixing but sometimes I just want to feel the bass vibrating my lower jaw as well!!

What sort of budget are you looking at? Wired or wireless? Open or closed back?

Yeah, the Sennheisers is had were Momentum 2s. Had them for about 12 years
Obviously replaced the cable and muffs once or twice over that time..but thought they'd last forever.  Devastated when they broke. Loving the Sonys. Doubt they'll last close to as long though. Using them with a dedicated hi-res music player, with a 1TB micro SD card. Too much choice  ;D
