Blue lucozade. Fucking delish

Working in a tidy and clean workshop/shed with everything in its place after being a mess for months.

Rediscovering a band having clocked out with them many a moon ago. Getting a right buzz  :)

I wasn't sure whether to go to Pet Peeves with this one but, since I admire the stubbornness of the cunt so much, Simple Pleasures it is.

The payroll people want me to change a work order number for a timesheet I submitted last week. I am happy to do this and tried on Friday, but it seems I am not allowed change the work order number when the hours are all 0, as this is a timesheet for when I was a civilian over the christmas break, 0 hours were worked and the change is not accepted by their app. I replied to the sender but the sender address is not valid, the email came back to me as an eagle of error.

Instead of doing anything useful, they just resend the exact same email, up to 8 times every day. The content is exactly the same, as is the sender. It is exactly the same in every way, with no way to contact them and no offer of help, several times every day. It's not even automated, the times are not scheduled. Fair fucks to the jobsworth cunt, that's great work 🤣

VLC Media Player. Free as a bird, no bullshit, no learning curve. Had a load of FLAC files today and I was looking to convert them to MP3 for putting onto a CD for my (2008) car. Duly searched and found a load of stupid online converters and free ones with limited access and whatnot. Looked again and of course the lowly free VLC that I've had for about 20 years can do it with no fuss at all, faster than any of the other ones and doesn't make any big deal out of structure or naming. Why can't life be Winamp and VLC instead of Media Player and complicated signup bullshit?

If you ever do manage to get through to your esteemed colleague, let them know about VLC Media Player as a matter of urgency!!

Bit late now but FlacSquisher is the one I use, as handy and straightforward as you like.

Didn't even come up in the shitty MS Edge search

Used to use VLC for video playback on PC, and Foobar2000 (as it was highly customisable.

Been giving Foobar a bit of love on Android of late too as it handles any audio file you throw at it like a champ.

VLC & WinRAR:Great Bunch Of Lads!

Although VLC still not doing subs when casting to an android TV is a pain the balls at times.

VLC is the best, no need for any other player on the laptop, I just put whatever into it and it works.  Also being able to just drag and drop folders of music and then sort and play them is grand.  No need for anything else.

Yep, you just have to love the oul VLC

I've said it before and I'll say it again, the unbeatable pleasure of fresh bread leathered in salty butter. Food of the gods.

You have me thinking, a slice of fresh from the oven treacle scone with top quality butter and a cup of tea.
