Being able to browse here while waiting on pints at a metal gig is surely a simple pleasure.  Or an addiction idk

Finally caught a mouse today, a year after hearing them last winter and a couple of months after their reappearance. Big one too, probably pregnant. I felt bad putting it out in that weather but it was better for it than being caught in a normal trap (I used a humane trap, and peanut butter eventually did the job).

Hopefully that was the only one, we'll see, I've rebaited and reset the traps.

Having a massive poop that flushes in one go and is basically clean with one wipe  8) 8) 8)

Just had a cracking few games of Uno with my young fellas - we each won a game so no whinging  8)

Free gaff when missus is at work, kids are at school, and at least five uninterrupted hours when I get the Nintendo Switch/Xbox to myself. Maybe even a sneaky mid morning nap if I feel that way inclined.

The same one will be back... getting free feed and a mystery tour in a little box. What's not to like?

Probably, though there are a few houses between where I dropped it and mine. When it's this cold out It'll want to get warm ASAP.

I remember those days fondly when I used to have Sunday and a midweek day off in my last job. I'd buzz around like a blue arsed fly for the first hour making sure I had all the usual housework done or whatever snag list the missus would have for me and then get as stoned as possible and game the absolute shit out of it and blare out the tunes in absolute peace. The fondest memories.

Regarding the mice, I never used the humane traps, and as happy as I'd be to get rid, I'd always feel like there was maybe no need to take their lives.

That was until I moved to the countryside and was overran with the cunts. Then I became like Carl Panzram or someone equally delighting in the deaths of others. One cunt ran up the leg of me jeans and all one night. Absolutely infested

Ah good stuff, glad to hear I'm not the only one who gets landed with a snag list!! I usually try to get that stuff sorted first thing so it's not hanging over me for the morning, but invariably I almost always forget to do one small thing and it's the first thing picked up on when she gets home.

I had the regular traps down and they were taking the bait (chocolate, rasher scraps, peanut butter) without springing them, all I was doing was feeding them. Had no better luck with the humane traps 'til today, but at least they weren't getting fed.

I was glad to let the fucker go, I don't like the idea of killing them unless necessary. As long as it doesn't find its way back in I'll be happy, and hopefully it was just that one. I doubt it though.

I used to not want them dead as well I really did

Nah fuck them, once they're in the house it's war. My last place I had mouse problem and I had a load of the traditional spring traps and I was just watching them eat off the release mechanism in front of me without letting the trap off. I didn't like the idea of poison and thenm dying in the walls so I got the most medieval fucking thing I could find, the nooski. Killed all the fuckers in 2 days, best trap ever.

Fuckin hell, that's like an ad you would see in Viz

Petition to start a NWOBHM band called Nooski  :abbath:

As said before laying in the bath after a tough physical week, having a drink while listening to lyric and the storm brewing outside.

Cue 30mins later, extracted from above and let the heaviness begin.

Hope the power doesn't go, if it dies
Bluetooth headphones, phone and candles.

Always have a back up for Friday night  :abbath:
