Delta One.

Now that is how to fly.  Especially when it only costs 170 euro.  :D

Having the house to yourself early in the morning, toast and a pot of coffee on. Nothing like it.

That never happens to me ever these days. It used to in my last job until a couple of years ago and it was beautiful

Hey lad, if ya want to make it even more glorious, next time get yourself a loafeen of buttermilk fruit soda bread made by Butlers in Menlough, lash on the Kerrygold and have it with that coffee.
It's savage.

I work from home 2 days a week, and once a month the missus goes into the office on one of these blessed days. I drop the young lad off to creche, then come home to blissful silence before shattering the silence by blaring death metal all day. It's like being a teenager again...apart from having to work.

I had a rare day to myself yesterday. I spent a good 5 hours straight recording music  8)

It's hard to bate the flake on the couch with a book, cupán tae and records spinning, but a good day of recording music just about does it.

Being a lovely fucking ray of sunshine first thing in the morning towards grumpy cunts, who go out of their way to try and make everybody they encounter as miserable as them.

There's people at work who give me grief for being so joyous of a morning.

Fuck em. Keep up the good work

Oh man, this one got me. I used to hike a lot when I was back home and there's absolutely nothing like getting yourself into the countryside away from civilization, to the top of a mountain, and just gazing out across the landscape in the silence. There truly is nothing like the Irish countryside. I'd always bring a wee victory beverage to enjoy at the top too, just to enhance the moment.

I would never go up a hill without the victory beverage and I do love going up a hill

That could be in the Pet Peeves thread in the morning eh
Wearing jeans and leather, not crackerjack clothes

Self harm at the very least!

Younger me would be disgusted that 4 bottles of craft beer, without the aim of getting mangled, is the highlight of my week.

He wouldn't be the only person disgusted with you either 🙄

Just kidding  :sniffles:
