Can appreciate the effort but not the kind of ambient that you'd be replaying much. Would rather throw on Tangerine Dream or Vangelis.

Big time. Just gave the whole thing a listen there, and maybe I was helped along by knowing exactly what to expect from having read your post, but I thought it was excellent. Suppose you could argue they should have done it as a side-project or whatever, but just taking the music for what it is, definitely stands up as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah, it's an oddity to release under the same name but sure why not, I suppose? Portal put out a noise album last year, not their usual sound but suited them, somehow. The difference being that that was shite.

As CorkonianHunger said above, you'd be more likely to go to Tangerine Dream.or whoever than straight for this one but I'll be picking it up nonetheless, I'll play it.
