Maybe someday. Watched the 2 episodes of that last night. Great stuff.

Voivod - War and Pain

Always had respect for this band but never actually looked into them but threw this on and it's brilliant, already on third play. I know they shifted style a bit so probably why I wasn't as quick on this.

You should dig Rrroooaaarrr as well. KT marked the most noticeable shift of that early stuff. Never ventured beyond the first 4, which I should, and will soon.

War Master
The IVth Crusade
...For Victory
Mercenary
Honour – Valour – Pride
Those Once Loyal

Almost every Bolt Thrower studio album in work today. Rock solid discography, more peaks than troughs, and the troughs are not very low. Growth and progression is all well and good but I do appreciate how riffs from Warmaster could exist on For Those Once Loyal and vice versa. Consistent quality.

100%. Have all of the Karl Willetts albums and was glad to catch them (and invade the stage a few times) when they played Dublin in 2010. 'Warmaster' was my introduction to them way back in the mists of time, but I am curious about 'Honour..', the only one of theirs that I skipped and am missing, is it worth getting?

Autopsy-Mental Funeral,30 years old today,threw it on earlier,demented stuff!,

Yep. Standard Bolt Thrower album but with different vocals, some great tracks on it.

Queens of the Stone Age - Songs for the deaf

What a masterpiece this album is.

The radio intros ruin it for me, utterly pointless and annoying.

Obituary= Slowly we rot

The rest of the day will be Slayer in its entirety

A matter of life and death - Iron Maiden

Corr Mhóna - Abhainn
CROWN - The End of All Things (not as visceral as their earlier material)
Cult of Luna - The Raging River
Omegavortex - Black Abomination Spawn

Decomposed - Laid To Waste (DEMOS)

Sounds great

I know there's a it of love for them here
FYI:
DLP can be bought on discogs or here: https://www.mesacounojo.com/shop/decomposed-laid-to-waste-demos-vinyl/

Me Saco Un Ojo Records presents, for the first time on vinyl, the three classic Decomposed demos (Inscriptions, Ego Sum Lex Mundi and Sermons of Morbidity) plus an unreleased instrumental demo from 1995. Everything has been carefully remastered and is presented in a gatefold double LP which includes a 12-page booklet full of flyers, interviews and unseen photos.

Decomposed, original pioneers of death-doom alongside fellow Brits My Dying Bride, Paradise Lost and Anathema, formed in 1990 and released several demos and one EP before their only full-length album Hope Finally Died in 1993. The band's 1992 EP The Funeral Obsession has since been re-released on vinyl and CD by Me Saco Un Ojo Records and Dark Descent Records respectively.

The digital download can be purchased directly from the band via the Decomposed Bandcamp page.

Unbelievable gig that!,real old school vibe off it.They played Cork in 06 but it was hampered by very poor sound. So the gig a few years later in Dublin made up for it in spades!

On a Slayer binge myself today, can't beat it.
I don't know why but every year when the weather changes and the sun comes out I get an irresistible urge to bust out the Slayer.

Saw them in Paris on that 2010 tour. Awesome. An experience that would have been worth ten times the admission.

Edit: No, that's my ageing brain playing tricks. I saw them in 2014. All the rest still applies though!

Definitely worth getting. I was skeptical at first as I still prefer Karl Willetts vocals but good album all the same.
