Morbid Angel - Gateways to Annihilation

Not nearly as bad as I remember. I was a fussy little bastard back in the day and dismissed it because it wasn't as good as Altars of Madness. Taken apart from their earlier works it's pretty good.

Yeah nothing mind blowing,but solid out good DM.If the drum sound was a bit chunkier it would have done a world of good for this album.The artwork is up there with the best too.

Brilliant as expected from Wolvennest. This is probably going to be my favourite release from them upon first listen.

Blizzard Beasts. I don't know what more I can add to the common complaints about production but I agree with them. There's a great album in there dying to get out. Strange that it hasn't got a remaster, when I listen to it in the car even the most basic treble up/bass down adjustment improves the experience loads. Youd think something could be done with the actual recordings by actual professionals.

I'm rooting for him too. He fucked up and he knows it. Now if himself and Demonaz could kiss and make up that would be great. They are both in top form song wise. I would love to see what sparks would fly if they recorded together again.

First time to listen to them properly, only played the odd live tune on Youtube before. Unexpectedly, the percussive instrumentation reminds me of mid-period Einstürzende Neubauten in spots.
