Afternoon and evening doing reading work, opportunity to hit up some winyl I haven't touched for a while:

Urfaust - Empty Space Meditations
Inquisition - Ominous Doctrines... (I hear these lads have a new album coming soon, meaning I guess he's not in prison...?)
Vanum - Burning Arrow
Ufomammut - Ecate

Typo - Life is killing me.
Dark Throne -Goatlord.
Sepultura -Beneath the remains.

Immortal-Sons of Northern Darkness, Mortum-The Druid Ceremony, Finntroll-Midnattens Widunder.

Comments turned off on it, so either way I'm guessing a lot of people think he should be:

The details of the case were only brought out in public 8 or 9 years after it had already been through the courts.

That's true; I had forgotten that aspect when I posted last night. Agonia's decision to release the album could be a thread of its own, if anyone is bothered. I wouldn't be surprised if a number of bands on their roster depart.

I don't think any bands will leave the roster I doubt they care. The album seems to be selling well also. Die hard and special edition sold out already.

You may be right.

In totally unrelated news; who knew BÖC had released their first studio album in practically 20 years??

Ulfarr - Hate and Terror...

Just been through the new Katatonia  ' live 'album ' prior to ordering the vinyl.  Love the  differing vocal takes on songs,  trigger pulled, vinyl ordered, special band.

Iron Maiden - The Book of Souls. Lads why didn't ye tell me about this album?

Meliah Rage - Kill To Survive
First time ever listening to this; it popped up as one of those "released on this day" thangs in FB. Pretty damn good album.

Other listening today:
Crypt Sermon - Out of the Garden
Crypt Sermon - The Ruins of Fading Light

Two modern doom classics.

Ultha - Converging Sins

I'm not sure how, to this day, I haven't got a single Meliah Rage album on the shelves. Closest I've come was opening a package from Listenable Records once to find the 'Solitary Solitude' 12" inside. I thought, ok they've messed up my order but  this is pretty cool, haven't got this.
Of course there was no actual record In the  sleeve, just  a freebie, albeit a bittersweet one.
