I can't stand pre-split Autopsy (I love the post-reformation output though).

Leprosy was the first DM I heard and have yet to hear anything that touches it. The drums are odd alright, the snare sound in particular but I couldn't imagine it sounding any different.

Dirt obviously a classic, the ST I never really got into other than a few songs. Going back to it for the first time in years and still don't think much of it

I revisited the AIC self titled not too long ago. It's such a bad album. I think there's maybe one half decent song in it and the rest is painfully dull. The strange thing with it though is that despite Layne sounding like he was completely checked out on a creative level, his performance is still powerful. That is, his delivery is note perfect. There's just no melody to latch on to.
