Decapitated - Nihility, The Negation.
Winterhawk - Revival.
Therapy? - Pleasure Death, Babyteeth, Nurse, Infernal Love.
Godflesh - Streetcleaner.

Megadeth – So Far, So Good... So What!

'Into The Lungs Of Hell' must be one of the best album openers
And a great lead into 'Set The World Afire'  8)

Helloween - Master of the Rings
Helloween - The Time of the Oath

Been an age since I listened to these both.  Always rated them highly.  While Time of the Oath didn't do anything for me today, Master of the Rings still had me singing and dancing round the house.

Judas Priest - British Steel

Voivod - Angel Rat
Dream Theater - Images and Words
Rival Schools - Pedals
Ondt Blod - Natur
Youth of Today - Can't Close My Eyes

Slayer - Show No Mercy. It's really making me question my entry into the one and only one thread!

Danzig - s/t, Lucifuge, How The Gods Kill, 4

Urfaust - Ritual Music

Dread Sovereign - All Hells Martyrs

Varathron- Walpurgisnacht.
Kawir (Cawir)- To Cawirs.

Unleashed-Midvinterblot, put this on regularly, some album!.Production is top class too.

If you've over looked this one get on it!

Bathory - Blood Fire Death 10/10
A vital album in the pantheon of Metal and one of the first that sprang to mind for the 'Pick One..'thread.
I just about had a mental breakdown after that though, damn thread should have carried a health warning.

Sumerlands - Sumerlands 8/10
2016 debut from Sumerlands showcasing their classy take on eighties Heavy Metal tinged with some old school melodic doom. At just 32 mins this one has serious replay value and I still much prefer it to the follow -up.

Exhorder - Mourn The Southern Skies 8/10
I've a lot of time for this one despite it being derided in some quarters for lacking the full on aggression of yore despite the likes of 'Ripping Flesh' here.A more nuanced Exhorder then and one that is surely influenced by Kyle's stint fronting Trouble. Those pesky Vatican Cardinals are probably sleeping easier anyway.

Katatonia - The Fall Of Hearts 7.5/10
After the rather subdued Dead End Kings the Swedish melancholy merchants found a better balance here between the light and the shade but there's maybe two or three tracks too many on this to hold the attention right through.

Ancient Death - Ego Dissolution 7.5/10
Gave this a whirl on youtube after the Cause Of Death like artwork caught my eye. More in line with Blood Incantation than Obituary though, this Cosmic Death Metal thing continues apace. Could well be a higher rating after I get a hold of a physical copy because I was pretty impressed.

Darkher- Realms 7/10
Haunting debut from this one lady project and it's an evocative listen full of wistful emotion and pensive atmospheres, a distant, darker cousin of Portishead or something like that maybe. A little out of my comfort zone though.
