Motley Crue - Shout at the Devil

I love this album but it's amazing, it's fucking amazing, that they ever got as popular as they did.

Hemdale- Rad Jackson
Random grab of the shelf, death grind the right way
Bolt Thrower- ...For Victory
Inherited a first press of this, crushing stuff.

Inherit it to me!

Gospel of the Witches - Covenant
Definitely digging it, only on second listen though.

Ha, that wasn't even the pick of the litter either!

So you won't even miss the runt!

Was reminiscing about seeing Mysticum's insane set at Roadburn a few years ago so hammered through their stuff this week. Still not checked out the new Blood Incantation as I went through a Black Flag trip after that. Alternating any metal or punk at the moment with Bill Evans, Merle Haggard or Art Tatum records.

Being playing Helmet - Meantime/Betty in heavy rotation in the car at the mo. That drum sound is still killer.

Also some Lankum.

Nocturnus - The Key

A fucking brilliant album.

Gorilla Biscuits - Start today

Malokarpatan- 'Nordkarpatanland'. Haven't listened to this in a while,  although I had 'Stridze dni' on last week.  I think this is a step further in terms of their songwriting and development of their own style.  It's ridiculously catchy.  New album on the way,  too, so it'll be interesting to hear how they get on with the guitarist now doing vocals.  The original singer had such a nasty snarl so big filthy boots to fill there.

Coffins new album Beyond the Circular Demise. This is fantastic death metal.

Today, I have mostly been listening to....
Lucifers Hammer - Time Is Death
Morbid Saint - Spectrum Of Death

Ringworm - Justice Replaced By Revenge
Bolt Thrower - Realm Of Chaos

My favourite Bolt Thrower album

Last listen : DK's - Plastic Surgery Disasters. Blinder of an album.

Also Screaming For Vengeance- the f'n Priest.
