Batushka - Litourgiya

I put this on from time to time, and it's grand, but never as good as I expect it to be. When it gets to the end, I find I'm always thinking in terms of putting on something better, not just something else.

Deafheaven - Sunbather, 10 years old.
Great album

I liked the first song they released but never ended up buying the album. The subsequent drama and confusion put me off them entirely. Maybe I should give that first album a listen some time.

Macabre Omen- Gods of War- At War.

That Macabre Omen is quality.

Deicide - Overtures of Blasphemy 7/10

I might even go back to Insineratehymn having seen the comments from people buying the boxset..but seriously ,that was a plodder wasn't it, all I remember from it is the cool lead on the title track.
This one, however, has the songs and hooks galore.
Still can't decide if the cover art is too much but I suppose the answer lies in the fact that I bought the vinyl format.

recent pickups:

Rage: Reign of Fear  LP
Venom: Welcome to Hell   LP
Steeler: Strike Back  LP
Dokken: Beast From the East  (live album, better than the studio albums!)  LP
Bathory: Jubileum 1 + 2  (both great compilations)  CD
Overkill: Taking Over LP (best of theirs I think)

Immortal - War against all.
Enslaved -Below the lights.
Mayhem - De mysteriis dom sathanas.
Bathory - Blood Fire Death.
Dodheimsgard - Black medium current.

Nadja - Truth Becomes Death

They need a bit of a filter with all the stuff they release but this is immense, pure soundscape. It's suffocating and majestic, just fuckin' perfection.

Iron Maiden- Poweslave. I picked up this LP many years ago. A second hand copy from the 80s, possibly from 84, and whoever owned it originally took great care of it. Not a single pop or hiss across the whole thing. The sound is immaculate and the cover is in great condition, including the merch catalogue, which apart from being discoloured from age is in superb condition.

You were done, it's missing an r  :P

I thought there was something iffy about it when Bruce started rapping.

Saturday night cans and youtube crawling. The Departure by Skepticism is a song for the ages. A masterpiece of music by any measure.
