I would have bought it physically if not for the ridiculous price, but judging by the price of anything Tool-related these days, that seems to be their thing. Glad I didn't regardless.

You never know, it might grow on me.

Total Retaliation was amazing, hoping for more of the same.

It's only 18 mins long but it's doesn't go by in a flash.
They still have everything you would expect from them.
The bundles are still on endhit records but the shipping cost in nearly half the price again.

New Watain. Pretty good on first listen.

Mysthicon - Silva - Oculis - Corvi

End Of Silence stuck on Repeat in the car. Prong actually hit a lot of the same spots for me as Rollins Band, Rollins relentless anger can wear on ya a bit on some days where as Tommy has a bit of laid back ferocity as little sense as that makes.

On a related note, I read Black Coffee Blues a while back, it was tough going. Like you said, his ever present anger and rage was oppressive, even in a short book/collection.

(I have two copies of it, incidentally so if anyone wants one PM me.)

Edit: gone.

Old Man's Child- The Pagan Prosperity.
Forbidden Temple- Step Into the Black Pentagram.

Myrddraal - Blood on the Mountain
Myronath - Djevelkraft

Khan - Space Shanty

Moenen of Xezbeth - Ancient Spells of Darkness

Coal? Fuck sake

Good album, though.

Reveal! - Doppelherz

A fairly mental but enjoyable listen. There's Bauhaus era post punk, crust/hardcore, at times absurd King Crimson like influences...but all played like a black metal band in the end. Production and guitar tones are deadly.
