The latest Undeath track. It's got the riffs.

The whole album is up on YT , just banged in a pre-order on Amazon there for the vinyl, 22 quid delivered, nice.

I'd been eagerly awaiting this but it's not hitting the heights of Lesions... at all for me. Seems a bit all over the place. Is it a grower or what?

I find it a lot more instant than 'Lesions' in that they've ironed out a lot of the quirks , not necessarily a good thing of course. I got a lot of nods to early Carcass from the first one whereas this one is full on CC worship at times, that first track in particular. I like 'em both though so all good here.

Requiem- Nunc Et Sempere.

This is a really cool collection. I'm detecting influences from D'Ianno era Maiden, the NWOBHM era in general, Mercyful Fate, Pagan Altar and perhaps some Cirith Ungol. Rough and ready in production but really good. It also carries some Death SS horror vibes. A nice accompaniment to that recently released collection of Arpia demos, if a bit more on the crude side of things.

Death SS- The Story of... 1977- 1984
Arpia- De Lusioni

Negative Plane - The Pact

Dismember "Like an everflowing stream" in John Ward's gaff, discovering his "family photo" of them playing Cork 😄🤘🏻

New devil master, very good gear

I find it more straight forward. Not that the last release was high art or anything.
The main fella was on the Into The Necrosphere podcast last week and the whole approach to this album was catchy riffs that you can bop along with.
He referenced CC a good bit in so far as songwriting influences.

This is class, think I may pick up a copy. One of the tracks features Sakis. It's kind of neo-folk with a bit of oriental chant BM.

Good shout. Had it on there in the car, really strong second half of the album.
