Sørgelig - We, the Oblivious

One of the best things I've discovered in the past year. They're on a roll with the 3 releases since, looking forward to the new ep next week.

The new Unto Others album, they used to be called Idle hands.
It's like a mix of Grave Pleasures, and thrashy death. It definitely warrants a few more spins.

Will check that out. Enjoyed the first one.

Funereal Presence - Achatius

Winter Lantern - Possession Cult Split

Skepticism - Companion

Listened to it a few times today already.  Great stuff.

Sombre Héritage - Alpha Ursae Minoris

Sólstafir - Köld
                 Fjara
                 Svartir sandar
                Berdreyminn

Fatima Mansions.

Cracking stuff surprised I never heard of them

Fatima Mansions are fucking deadly.

This is odd now. I was talking to someone else about them only a few days ago.

They were Cathal Couglan's band after Microdisney split up. I would say they have a bit of The Birthday Party/Bad Seeds/Shellac/Wire sound.

I would rank them in this order but my mood changes.

"Valhalla Avenue"
"Viva Dead Ponies"
"Against Nature"
"Lost In The Former West"

Oddly, they appeared in my youtube suggested yesterday. The frequency illusion.

Not amazing, but good at least, unlike that last Absurd track. Couldn't find where we were discussing that:

Megadeth-Countdown
Bifrost-Blykrone.

Carcass - Torn Arteries....superb....doing more for me than surgical steel(which was unreal)

My Dying Bride- 'Trinity'.

Prog mad the last couple of days, or maybe just Neal Morse mad:

Spock's Beard - V
Spock's Beard - Beware of Darkness
Spock's Beard - Day For Night
Neal Morse Band - Similitude Of A Dream
Transatlantic - Bridge Across Forever
