Last night:
Neurosis - The Eye of Every Storm
Daemonia Nymphe - Psychostasia

So far today:
Hexecutor - Where Spirit Withers in its Flesh Constraint
Death - Spiritual Healing

The Eye of Every Storm is such a brilliant album. Their last good one perhaps

Harvestman- Triptych 2.

Yeah, I'm not overly familiar with it, but really enjoyed listening to it last night.

The Eye of Every Storm is class but it took me a few goes years ago to come around to.

Not as heavy as their earlier stuff, but the songs are just magic.

Was the first one I got. Always liked it but haven't listened to it in years which I must rectify.

"No River to Take Me Home" is immense.

Re. The Eye of Every Storm, it's a stone cold classic imo, have to mention Fires Within Fires is very good though.

NP:

The Young Gods - Appear Disappear (really enjoying this one)
Sigh - Shiki
Death - Leprosy

Samael- Rebellion; fucking great ep

Draugveil - Cruel World of Dreams and Fears.... The hype is real..this is a banger

One for the controversial opinions thread, but this is my number two Slayer album (after RiB).

It's good, but I wouldn't even put it in their top 5. The production doesn't help, it sucks the life out of it.

I had World Painted Blood on this morning. That's a much better album.

Divine Intervention is grand!,even as 15 year old i was definitely underwhelmed when it came out.

Id reach for one or two of the albums that came after before I put in DI tbh.

Aww, I love the production on it, but defo see why it's disliked. I'd put WPB as their best album post-classic era.

NP - Neurosis - "Through Silver In Blood". Been trying for two decades on and off to get into this album, and it never stuck... until the other night. This is all I'm going to be listening to for the next week now. 8)

Divine Intervention is brilliant, World Painted Blood is let down by that shitty production that clips.

I'd say DI is their last essential release, and only just at that. Nothing since has stood out.
