Had a trip through the Celtic Frost discography yesterday. I wish I heard Morbid Tales first but To Mega Therion was my introduction to them. I'd argue the stylistic leap from TMT to Into the Pandemonium is greater than from ITP to Cold Lake. Oliver Amberg, though. For a lad who was in Coroner, at one stage, to not be able to hit the right note even once... jaysus. Vanity/Nemesis is great. Monothiest is totally savage. Love that fucking band.

Faith No More - KfaD, Sol Invictus. The latter is almost a decade old now (yeesh), but holds up pretty good after their classics. Smokes AotY for sure.

I find Sol Invictus nigh on unlistenable TBH. It reeks of Patton, not FNM, all ego with no substance to back it up.
