Metalworks! I don't think my copies (were there two?) survived... maybe they are back in Ireland.

I only got the 1 issue, they were selling subscriptions at the time  but it was at the tail end of print magazine popularity so never was going to be financially secure.

It wasn't eye catching either. The name sucked, the cover was bland and yeah, the internet was on the rise making it an uphill struggle. I think if they had a better graphic designer and maybe more interesting and unique cover artists they could have run for a few years. It was hard to get excited by the publication beyond supporting the local scene.

Never got my hands on a copy of it, but. I did pick up the CD in a trade at some stage. Must dug it out again for a spin.

Took out a subscription but pretty sure I only got two issues. To be fair it was feckin rammed with reviews and interviews but it was just too slow to come out.

Thought there were more issues but could be wrong. I know I have one somewhere in with all my old magazines. It wasn't great in all fairness.

On an enjoyable revisit to the A Perfect Circle albums the last few days.

Perhaps if the lads stick at it for a few more issues the quality would have improved. In not having a go at anyone for it by the way. I think fair fucks to them for giving it a go at all. Not an easy thing to do.

I remember giving (a very drunk Fart) money for a subscription in Bruxelles, about 2 minutes later he fell into a table full of drinks!.My subscription paid for that round id say!

I still give Mer De Noms a regular airing. Great album.

Still got a heap of promos that Fart sent me to review, think I spent months at them and whatever issue that was never saw the light of day. Tough gig starting a zine during the burgeoning internet era as someone mentioned.

Warning - watching from a distance

I have to spare this album so as not to dilute its visceral power. It is probably the most engaging album I've ever heard. The interplay between lyrics/vocals and instrumentation is as crushingly potent today as when I first heard it back in the late 2000's. I googled up Warning Facebook and a recent post on there says there will be a series of 20th anniversary WFAD gigs in 2026. Hopefully some of the old doom stalwarts come out of retirement and arrange a gig for here.

Reverend Bizarre - Slice of Doom boxset.

I'm on a top tier, champions league night of doom. Savage band. Flawless career. Never put a foot wrong in my opinion.
