I would love to see his collection. It must be frightening.

I haven't seen it, but it was frightening in a different sense 30 years ago when he was living at home and the ceiling beneath his room was warped from the weight of the vinyl stored above. So twas a bit structurally unsound I guess!

You've prompted me to stick this on. Fairly sure I've heard it along the way but it sounds new to me here now. Sounds magic. Way better than expected, as in, way more melodic.

Savage album. All of those early Tank albums are great to be fair, but Filth Hounds just has that something special about it. Produced by Fast Eddie too.

This is pretty fuckin gnarly. Any recommendations for other bands making decent sludge these days? Have been back listening to Iron Monkey, Grief, Burning Witch, Meth Drinker etc of late but lost interest in the scene around 10 years ago so I've surely missed loads

Only got round to this the other day, was waiting till I could give it a proper listen.

It's so so good, definitely a highlight of the year so far. It'll get many more listens.

Such a fucking great album, completely unique sound at the time. They never captured that level of aggression on the later stuff, never came close.
