Been saying this about this particular album for years!

If this came with the Metallica name attached it'd have been hailed as the second coming of Christ/...AJfA.

Despise You - West Side Horizons
Hatred Surge - Deconstruct
Carcass - Reek of Putrefaction

Yup, that inspired me as well

Thread has me on a Nile buzz... doing it in order, so far Amongst the Catacombs and Black Seeds are down. Onto Darkened Shrines  :abbath:

Could never get into ST. Bought Art of Rebellion and Melvins - Houdini the same day and there was only one winner for me.
Anyway today it's been:
Hammers of Misfortune - 17th Street
Slough Feg - Down among the Dead Men

The Art Of Rebellion was muck, turned me off them altogether.

Pretty much on a rock buzz last few weeks (The Beatles, The Doors, The Smiths, King Crimson etc) but as far as the ol UNHOLY METAL goes- this new KERRY KING album actually isn't that bad- or as bad as it seems to be judged so far. To me anyway it's as decent as the last few SLAYER albums.

BUT Then again; I'm one of those absolute WEIRDO's who likes Load/ReLoad & I love God Hates Us All & 72 Seasons so... I dunno/Fuck off.  :-*

CANDLEMASS - Candlemass (2005)

I remember an early version of one of the songs being put up on youtube years ago that someone labelled a new Metallica demo, and people going mental over it

Their new stuff is alright, but Ol just isn't as strong a vocalist

SOLITUDE AETURNUS - Through The Darkest Hour (1994)

Primordial- Spirit the Earth Aflame.
