Was that the Slayer gig in 2006? Think I have the bootlegs from that show I'll have to dig out. They got about 20-30 minutes didn't they?

According to my ticket the line up was Thine Eyes Bleed, Children of Bodom, Lamb of God, In Flames and Slayer on a tour daubed the Unholy Alliance. If all five bands were playing it's difficult to see how the Hate Crew could've played for longer than half an hour. Their best gig I attended was that of 1/10/2005 in the Gaelic Club Sydney where no fewer than 13/15 songs played were from albums one to four which went down extremely well from what I can recall. After "Are You Dead Yet?" my interest waned. Still doesn't alter the fact that what they released from 1997-2000 will live long in the memory.

Wow, 2020 did indeed swallow up quite a bit of musical talent....

That's some list.....

Edit: scroll past the Alexi Laiho part in the link to get to the 2020 musician departure list....

Same link.

Never into the band and was at that Slayer gig but don't remember them being on the bill, or In Flames for that matter, but 41 is ridiculously young to kick it.

Edited previous post...

Aragh, most of them are nobodies.

Really liked the earlier COB albums, but lost interest when they started going through the motions.

Was looking forward to catching them at that Unholy Alliance gig, but only got to hear them and the openers from the queue outside.
Gig started about an hour and a half earlier than the time stated on the tickets, and getting in took well over an hour with security and caught the end of their last song.
LOG were entertaining enough.
In Flames were quite painful.
And Slayer couldn't be seen on stage with all the smoke and lights.

Worst gig I ever attended.

Couple of write-ups in the Guardian on Leiho, if anyone's interested...I haven't read them myself, as I was never a fan, so if the articles are shit I apologize!

From Entombed A.D. facebook...

We are devastated to announce that our beloved friend Lars-Göran Petrov has left us.⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣
Our brother, leader, vocalist, our Chief Rebel Angel went on another ride last night. It's with the deepest sadness that we have to announce that Lars-Göran Petrov has left us. He was (is!!!) an incredible friend, and a person that has touched so many people. He has changed so many lives with his voice, his music, his character and his unique personality. LG's smile is something that we will carry forever in our hearts. When asked in an interview what he would like to have written on his grave and what about his legacy, he said: "I will never die, it will never die".  And you didn't. You will live forever in our hearts. ⁣⁣⁣⁣

R.I.P. LG Petrov.
