Just heard Derek Murphy has passed, some of yiz may have known him over the years

I saw that about Murph. I can't say I knew him but I remember him being a regular fixture behind the mixing desk at many a gig over the years. 49... Just way too young.  RIP.

God that's awful. Again I'd just know him to say hello to at gigs and hadn't seen him in years but a shame. R.i.P

That's sad to read about Murph. Hasn't seen him in years but used to have good time for him.

RIP. Hadn't seen him in a very long time. 49 is no age.
He used to do sound occasionally for bands back in the early 2000s and he even had a short lived show on a pirate radio station at some point round then too.
