This was her a couple of days ago. Christ, she looked rough at the end.

I'd say she looked amazing to anyone else who was on whatever she was on.

Priscilla looks far healthier than her in this one...

Are you kidding? She looks like she's been badly disfigured in a car crash and then had Wilson from Castaway's face sewn on over it.

Edit: Yes I know.

It looks like a picture of Sebastian Bach and Ozzy from 20 years ago.

Quote from: Black Shepherd Carnage on January 13, 2023, 08:23:29 AMPersonally, I'll take shocked reactions over tedious ones any day. Iommi and Blackmore were the only folk I myself saw expressing shock. I think that's understandable. They were his peers. I'd be shocked if I heard today that a 78 year old family member who I otherwise knew to be healthy and well had died. If you need any further help working through these complex emotions, let us know, yeah?

I am on different forums and FB groups, and a LOT of regular people like you and me were expressing their shock and disbelief. If you've never heard of a person being "healthy and well" dying, then I envy you and consider you a lucky man. I have seen/heard of a lot of people being healthy and well just until the moment they died. Maybe things are different around when you live/have lived.
I surely understand feelings of loss, sadness, etc....but being shocked a 78 year old person died...no, I am not shocked. Maybe I am just nitpicking on the terms/words used.
Anyway, I fully respect your feelings, thanks for offering me help to work through complex emotions, mine are quite fine thankfully.

I'm going to say now that the word "fentanyl" will appear somewhere in the coroner's report.

The bould fentanyl is going to be the cause of a good bit of shit in the years to come

Seriously!
That's no age to pass on.
Any cause of death given?

Two members of The Screaming Trees in as many years. 'tis mad!

Pneumonia. Garry Lee announced it yesterday.

David Crosby, 81

Sad news. Love a lot of his work.

Ah feck, I liked his stuff alright.

Def a man of legend status. 81 is a great age and he left a great legacy. Have The Byrds on now.

What a legend and legacy, I'll be paying tribute tonight for sure.

Television frontman and guitarist  Tom Verlaine, 73. Marquee Moon will always have a special place in my collection.
