Still reeling about oul Goatspell. Haven't been hughely interested in the post reformation ATG but I can't stress enough how formative their intial run was to me, and Grotesque likewise, they're both all over any metal band I've been in (my parts of "Titan" by Vircolac were 100% me trying to write soemthing off "the Red In the sky" for example). him and Svensson were the magic ingredients to that era. He seemed like an absolute lifer, and the few I know who've met him have said he was a gent. Very glad I got to see them live finally in the Academy that time.

Slaughter Of The Soul made a huge impact on me. The vocal delivery and those guitar lines are outstanding.

That was the first of theirs I heard. His work with Lock Up as well was son, so good.
