I've just put a ticket up for resale on ticketmaster, can't make it work coming down from Belfast.

They were great in Belfast, if anyone is on the fence definitely go. Abaddon were also very good, few technical problems but they played great. Devil's Henchmen are worth a look, very good thrash from a bunch of 20 year olds.

Only problem with Belfast was that it ran very late so a lot of people left to get last buses etc and there weren't many people there to begin with.

Any suggestions on where in Schligo to watch the hurling final?

Can't see people who don't know anything about the band or metal paying E40 to look at an old man....?

That wasn't great now. I thought they were pretty sloppy in places. Sound wasn't great at the start but did get better, not the band's fault I know. That being said they were clearly having a lot of fun and that was pretty infectious.

What makes it a live rehearsal?

This was a genuine question, btw. What is a live rehearsal?

Pig Destroyer played 2012 and 2022. Wormrot have never played it. Both might have been booked to play 2021 but then all the non-UK bands (apart from maybe a few EU bands) had to cancel.

20th Anniversary will be cool but they need some real top-tier bookings for it. It can't just be a normal Damnation lineup, as good as they can be. Pig Destroyer are an odd choice considering they played so recently. Warning reforming is pretty special though. I can see Sikth playing as they played the first one.

Why doesn't Ireland get these kind of shows?

The population of London City is greater than the population of the entirety of Ireland.

Very tempted by this, although I'm going to Maryland Death Fest a few weeks later.

I was always curious as to how this can be free when I know a big issue with a lot of bands not coming to Ireland is costs / not getting a big enough crowd yet a band like Drowned can play a free show in Limerick? I know they are not the first or biggest international act to have played this festival bigger bands have played before when it was also free in.

Not all the bands get paid. You could probably draw a line on the poster at some point and all the bands above get paid, and all the bands below don't.

Class lineup, might actually get down.

Interesting to see how it works - I assumed you queued up to get a wrist band. I will be down early anyway if I do get going, their merch is always unreal.
