Not hugely interesting overall, bar the reformation of Warning.

From a Kerrang press release -

QuoteOn the eve of the 20th anniversary of our Watching from a Distance album, we are proud to be invited back to perform at Damnation's 20th anniversary, where we will play the album in full, alongside new material," say Warning. "This will be our only UK performance of 2025. We look forward to seeing you at Damnation.

Kinda mad. WFAD has seemingly only grown and grown over time.

Whoa, wasn't expecting the warning announcement! And new music  :o  How do you follow WFAD though..

But yeah terrible lineup apart from that, if I wasn't so far away I would have travelled just for Warning.

Used to really enjoy this festival, but the last few years the lineup is doing nothing for me. Hopefully might be something better in the next announcement

Well the return of Warning is fantastic news, not that I'll be attending this to see them.

Admittedly I don't pay attention to this fest much but would I be not far off in thinking Pig Destroyer and Wormrot play every year?

Fucking Meryl Streek..jesus...ugh.

I thought the same re: Pig Destroyer.

Just cool that Warning are back.

Pig Destroyer played 2012 and 2022. Wormrot have never played it. Both might have been booked to play 2021 but then all the non-UK bands (apart from maybe a few EU bands) had to cancel.

20th Anniversary will be cool but they need some real top-tier bookings for it. It can't just be a normal Damnation lineup, as good as they can be. Pig Destroyer are an odd choice considering they played so recently. Warning reforming is pretty special though. I can see Sikth playing as they played the first one.

Happy enough with the final announcements, I always good to see Raging Speedhorn & Primordial, hoping for a good lineup for Night Of Salvation on the Friday.

Such an Irish reaction!

But yeah!
Was not expecting him to pop up on bill like this.

Just got tickets for this, by my reckoning at least 6 bands on Sat and 8 on Sunday I want to see. If anyone wants to meet up for a beer during, let me know

Night Of Salvation confirmations:
  • Venue - Bread Shed
  • Lineup - Four bands, that are already playing the main festival but they will not be announced before tickets go on sale
  • Playing special album sets
  • On sale 15 Sept

Primordial teased Spirit The Earth Aflame being 25 and maybe playing it in full so they could be one of the bands.

Deadguy also apparently released a poster with the NoS date on it.

is this on the friday night? Where is information posted?

Yeah NoS is always on the Friday beforehand, it's almost grown into its own thing at this stage

There is a Damnation Festival Forum on Facebook, Gav posted an update about 5 days ago there with the details.

The venue only has a capacity of 450 so they expect it to sell out pretty quickly even without bands confirmed.

He also said it would be about £35
