I've caught them a few times, always enjoyable. For me that Jesu self titled is my favourite thing he's done. When he played Dublin with Jesu that time was it Parsons on drums?

It was Parsons indeed. I was at that gig myself got a great kick out of looking at JKB flailing around like a man possessed to the slowest possible music.

I think the S/T is certainly the best of the Jesu stuff and right up there with most of the Godflesh catalogue.

Godflesh did a mini tour of Ireland years back, wasnt a fan of them really but was well chuffed there was a Cork date, heavy as fuck they were!

Would love to see Godflesh. Who knows when the fuck I'll ever get the chance now

Was meant to go to England on a couple of occasions in the last few years to see them but it never panned out - one time being when they supported Neurosis.  Sick to my fuckin teeth I didn't go now.

I went over to the last Supersonic Festival they played at. They supported Neurosis in the Birmingham Town Hall. Really cool. A great festival in general actually, lots of interesting bands.

To be fair, I feel at least, he tours Godflesh a lot. And theyll even be at festivals like Primavera and Le guess who. So I'm betting ye all get to see them post restrictions! Just take your vaccine astfgyl  and we'll get you godflesh :)

Saw Godflesh at Brutal Assault 2019. Excellent but the set didn't start until 2 in the morning so only made it through about half of it before calling it quits.

But v intense, glad I caught them at all.

Absolute high point for me is Teethgrinder. Especially when it kicks back in halfway through. The impression it made on me at the time can't be overstated

Check the drummer out....  :abbath:

Had never seen this Dimmu Borgir gig from the Barker,Mustis,Vortex years before til I accidently stumbled upon it on you tube.
Barkers drumming really took them up a level.
