Are you playing any music these days? Presumably there's some kind of scene there in Doha? Or even just playing for your own amusement?

Im teaching secondary music here and teach guitar to some ex pat kids. There is not much of a scene, mainly cover bands. Not that I would have the time anymore having my own kids to entertain.

What's up folks? Long time no see.

Loved Decayor back in they day, especially the thrash iteration. Remember seeing ye in the voodoo lounge and ye covered Angel of Death with an exceedingly long drum solo.

Hi all, I finally decided to sign up and join the fun after years of coming to the forum as a mere spectator. I'm originally from Portugal, but have been living Dublin for the past 7.5 years. I am into all kinds of Heavy Metal, but I will listen to anything outside of it as long as it hits the right notes for me. Looking forward to talking about music here and meeting some of you at future gigs!

How's it going just found this place and wanted to say a quick hello to everyone. I mostly listen to Black Metal and I love a bit of the old sea fishing.

 Ahoy there ,Welcome aboard

Hello all. I'm B. Billy and I like Metal flavoured coffee  :D

Hello. Was previously on MI but fell away from the whole online space. It might be just a post-Covid crest but it feels like metal has gained a second wind - obviously sans the metal bar socialising side of things.

Hey guys,
I am a metalhead from Ireland like yourselves.
I used to be in a band too.
I have recently written a book about (you guessed it from my username) Mental Health For Metalheads. Ed Repka did the art for it.
If anyone is interested in a self-help book by a fellow Irish metal fan, or just want to see some cool Repka art, check it out...

If anyone is in a band with mental health themed lyrics or works in the mental health field, feel free to join my community on discord or look up my patreon too, but I won't link spam them here.

I used to be in a band called Rust And Regret when I was a teenager, if anyone remembers them. Had a few reviews on Metal Ireland back in the day.
Check out my metalhead centric self-help book, packed full of neuroscience, psychiatry, psychology and lived-expirience... but not afraid to drop Immortal or Emperor references or Exodus comparrisons where needed.
Features hand painted '80s style art from Ed Repka.
