It's always puzzled me that the biggest cheer you hear at a GAA match (well Junior B when I was playing) is when some big lump of a corner back or full back blasts the sliotar into row Z.

You'd barely a ripple for a 70 yard point by comparison.

You know you're over the hill when you get excited about a new hoover.

On a microwave buzz at the moment but it's not a patch on the thrill of researching a good hoover.

The one I got was shite. Just a little handheld thing for shelves and tight corners in the bedroom but it lasted 10 mins. before overheating. Not even 10 continuous mins., I cleaned the filter 3 times in between.

On the other hand, my new pan is flying it.

I'd to dump one of those handheld yokes too. Bagless, which I thought was great til the cuntin thing kept opening during the vacuum undoing all my hard work. Life was easier when I was a messy fucker.

Being accountable to a woman who doesn't tolerate the socks and teabags in the sink helps aswell.

Dan Carlin's 'blitz' podcasts, as in 'quickfire' running over five hours. The man is so listenable though. A non historian who loves history.

He does 'go on' though :)

I realise the importance of protest and fully acknowledged the positive results it has yielded throughout history. And yet, when I see people protesting (regardless of their political affiliation) I can't help thinking, 'what a pack of annoying, whiney cunts'.

Yeah same, 'get into bed ye cunts'.

I just feel like the protests are never violent enough to make any difference. All one has to do is wait them out and it just goes away.

A lot of lads walking around with anchor tattoos. I don't get it, is it some kind of 'dog whistle'?

I once fell asleep langers when I was in college and someone drew an anchor on my arm and wrote HMS GAY underneath :)

"We value it", as in they place a value on it to resell it to advertisers.

See also, "Your privacy is important - to us."

And the Consent / Legitimate interest bullshit so many of these sites have.

"No I do not consent"
"Well, we have a legitimate interest so we're going to ignore that"
