Aye, but no one uses their indicators over here so you keep getting stuck between third and fourth gear so Jethro Tull fits that pace.

The feckin gee-bags...

Can anyone remember the threads on MI where, if Tom G Warrior was mentioned in any way, a particular user would crop up posting absolutely bizarre shit about him?  Can anyone remember their username?

I was explaining this to Astfgyl earlier and he didn't even remember the thread, I'm hoping some other old forum heads might.  Sometime around when everything was being hall-of-famed it cropped up again, I had done a little digging out of curiosity and found another rake of posts tied to that name (or similar) that were absolutely unhinged, across a number of forums and social media, but can't seem to find any now with no username to start from.

I remember that. I think it was a spurned ex lover

Highly bizarre that stuff. It was like how one of those true crime shows start.

Wasn't that an old Siege thread? I think the name was maybe Dark Raven or something along those lines

Ya, there were screenshots and everything. She was fuckin tapped.

Tried searching Dark Raven with a few related terms but nothing came up.  If I end up quiet in work tomorrow I'll have a better look, off to the wayback machine and MI itself I imagine.

I don't even think she was a spurned lover, fairly sure it transpired she didn't even know him at all but was cruelly obsessed.  I think how it is just another bizarre thread of a person criss crossing the internet, weaving this weird fantasy, is kind of interesting.

I remember those posts, can't remember her name but I don't think it was Dark Raven. I'm fairly certain that it was a Tryptikon thread that spawned her madness.

Ya, I think it was a Triptykon gig in Cork that started it. She def wasn't called Dark Raven.

This has been wrecking my head, so had a look on the wayback machine, managed to find the thread, but only one page of it is saved it seems, and it doesn't include any of her mental rambling

I'm pretty curious now myself although I couldn't remember a note of it when Ochoill was saying it to me

That and someone who had a fake profile of Lars Ulrich which was endlessly entertaining

You think, 'I'm young at heart'.

Then you talk to a young person and you think, 'I'm a pain in the hole at heart'.

Youth is wasted on the young. If we'd known when young what we know now, we'd have started being a pain in the hole much earlier, that's what that proverb means.
