Eoin McLove mentioned Freakout in the Emperor thread. The name rings a bell but I'm trying to place it, was it a small basement shop somewhere between (the old) Tower Records and the George's St. arcade? Blast from the past anyway.

Yeah, I have South William Street in my head. Either that street or one parallel to it. I also remember getting the first Rancid album in there. Cool little spot.

I bought some noise compilation there that I ended up giving to a former Cradle Of Filth drummer, and the first Masters Of Reality album, which went down much better. They had an early double vinyl pressing of Zappa's Freak Out! on the wall for ages, I always meant to buy it (if it was, in fact, for sale - it probably wasn't) but the place was closed when I got around to it. Odd spot, always something of interest there.

Jesus. Best watched on mute, that one.

I just don't know what to say about it

I was a Toyah fan when I was younger - I didn't say I was a fan of her music - if I'd seen (not heard) that then, I would have crippled myself. Not bad for a woman in her 60s.

But yeah, lockdown is clearly breaking people.

Clickbait at the bottom of pages is fair funny at times

Best I've seen today says "better grab a tissue before you see samantha fox at 54". Of course I left its ambiguity intact by not clicking.

How does a fella get rid of a DVD porn collection?

Ceremonial pyre would be a worthy send off

In good conscience I couldn't look at porn being destroyed.

Depending on what country you're in, Ebay have an adult section. Not accessible everywhere, though.
