I only played it on N64 :(

I have a SNES and an N64, both bought in around 2015/2016 from pawn shops and work well. Also have an NES mini. Have bought quite a few cartridges for both N64 and SNES. Speaking of  SNES games I like, I picked up 'Pilot Wings' (relaxing), 'F-Zero' (to name quite a few) and of course bought 'Mario Kart' which I think is better than the N64 version but some of the levels on Mario Kart 64 are better even still, like 'Rainbow Road' or that weird castle.

Goldeneye, Mario Cart and Star Wars: Shadow Of The Empire kept me entertained for years on the N64, I'd love to get those again. I'm sure, however, that nostalgia is a factor in that and playing them on a decent TV now would be a letdown.

They're still good. Download Retroarch and the ROMs and you can play them on your laptop

N64 Emulators always withered me because of the controls - can't remember the name of the one I used but it's been about 8 years since I last attempted it and got beyond fried trying to replay Ocarina of Time because of them.  I would however love to figure out a way of running Perfect Dark solely for the multiplayer.  I've never used Retroarch but am comfortable with emulation in general (have used ePSXe, zsnes, and ccs64 fairly regularly) - would there be much issue setting it up to run off two usb controllers?

Perfect Dark multiplayer was ahead of its time. The level of customization you could go into setting up games was incredibly satisfying. I tried running it on an emulator about 12 years ago with not so good results. But I did download a port of it for the xbox 360 back in 2010 and played through the single player again and it was still great.

Kind of crossing into the gaming thread here, but I would love to play the two Rouge Squadron games for the N64 again.

The 0.1% of germs not killed by antibacterial sprays etc. What germs are they?

I have only one USB N64 controller and configuring it was no problem. Two PlayStation Classic controllers worked fine too. They have stuff about setting up controllers on their site.

Got a ton of gravel the other day and it got me thinking about the sheer scale of building the great pyramid. Fucking crazy really.

Never mind getting the foundations level

The 12 x 12 patio I dug out was a challenge for me!

Doing the weekly shopping and before I left my wife asked me to pick her up sombre cereal.  I asked her what she wanted and she said,  ah sure whatever.  I'm rambling through the cereal aisle and think, I should pick her up a box of all bran. Imagine the disappointment! Nothing says I love you like a snow shovel loaded with all bran fucked into the head. Wandering around the shop laughing to myself at the image, like a total fucking muppet.
