May as well get a gaming thread on the go.

I had hoped to be well stuck into Red Dead 2 by now, but someone's bought it for me as a Christmas present so I have to wait! I'm going through Divinity Original Sin 2 at the moment though so that's keeping me busy.

As for upcoming releases I'm excited for Sekiro Shadows Die Twice, the new FromSoft game coming early 2019.

Haven't gotten to rdr yet, far too much out this time of year to stay on top of.
Flat out on the forest atm, what a game. Perfect balance of tense resource management and survival horror. Loving the risk/reward element of getting better supplies in caves but simultaneously increasing yer chances of meeting an early demise. Quality stuff.
Sekiro looks sweet alright, my most anticipated title. From can do no wrong.

Fired into a new save of Oblivion a few weeks back and still tipping away with it.  Love that game.  Played it to death years back but haven't given it a good go in about 6/7 years, forgot a few of the smaller quests.  Not getting anything new for a while, but will pick back through my steam catalog leading up to christmas and maybe see what's in the sales then.

I actually did a play through of Oblivion myself earlier this year, hadn't played it in ages either but the game still holds up pretty well given it's age now. It was very enjoyable overall apart from those oblivion gates, fuck those things. I just started speed running through them after the first few! I had been looking forward to going through Shivering Isles again too, but stopped playing after the main story.

I have a copy of Oblivion and Skyrim.

I was trying to run through the Oblivion Gate in sackcloth pants after around 30 hours I just wasn't getting it at all.

I didn't try Skyrim yet.

Have a working PSX I dug out lately. Fuck all games but it is still great to relive the old experience vs emulators

Just finished my first playthrough of Skyrim last month. Currently finishing off Breath of the Wild.

Any interest in the new mini PS1? I thought the included games could have been better. Looks like the console is just running the ePSXe emulator too, which makes me a little hesitant since I could just do that myself.

I was less than impressed with the games lineup as well. Is there any way of feeding it ISOs or anything like that? That'd be brilliant

Just had a look at the list there. Nine of them I would go for but i'm running ePSXe on my phone and PC too so absolutely no need for it.  And have FFVII on PC (because everyone needs at least three copies of it just in case).  Great idea for anyone not running an emulator though, even if a few on the games list don't do it for me there's decent variation on it.

Speaking of the PS1 and it's games, anyone else hyped for the Medievil PS4 remake? I thought the trailer they showed at halloween looked great.

Realised the other day that I had Gears of War 4 still sitting there in the plastic. Have to say, it isn't grabbing me at all.

Any of you vidjoe game neeeeeerds have a Nintendo Switch? The young lad is getting one for Christmas and sure I might indulge myself in a game or two, so recommendations welcome.

Breath of the wild and Hollow knight are two of the best games I've ever played through. Highly recommend em both.

Really looking forward to Cyberpunk 2077.

I'll be breaking my no pre-order rule for it, that gameplay trailer was amazing.

I think it has the potential to rival the original Deus Ex, one of the best games ever made.

What He said..

I'm also playing though Diablo III at the moment which is quite good - I've only played a small about so far, but there seems to be a wealth of content in there to fill up the hours.
