Yep. If you care, then I am better than you.

The Inbred Kardashians

Of all the things I was expecting from a Clannad gig, drum, flute and multiple bass solos weren't among them.

The swallows in the shed have had another brood of chicks, when is nice. The pile of shite under the nest, however, is not.

Managed to procure an old Ipod. I destroyed my one in an attempt to fix it. Fuck spotify like!

Small bit of a Bandcamp hack I came across. When it comes to opening your heart/wallet just add to basket and the nag screen disappears. Bad form in a way but there it is.

Why do I feel revulsion at the idea of opening a stranger's post but absolutely zero distress at fucking it straight in the bin! Surely fucking it out is worse??

Sickened by the attack on Salman Rushdie. Truly fucking appalling.

Apparently he's recovering well. Very lucky.

Yes, but still in critical condition and he might lose an eye. He has a long recovery ahead. Hopefully he'll be back writing soon and it will be interesting to see how this will impact his creativity in future. Imagine a fucking 24 year old attacking a defenceless 75 year old man. Pure and utter scum.

Ah yeah it was an awful act. I see he's pleading not guilty as well for some reason.

Pleading insanity maybe? He won't get his virgins if he wimps out now.

I shouldn't, but

I guess anyone doing something as insane as that has a case to make for insanity. Read there was a $3 Mil bounty on Rushdie's head but I don't think yer man had any chance of collecting it the way he went about it so I doubt that was the deciding factor for him in this case either. The old religion really fucks with people's heads.

Anyone who does something like that is certainly insane or damaged in some way, but should that exonerate them? If you are brainwashed by religion or a cult and you act in their name does that mean you aren't acting of your own volition? Maybe. But should that even matter? The heart says one thing and the mind something else.
