Couldn't think of anywhere else to put it so I'll ask here. Those of you who are not on Facebook, how do you hear about new releases and such? Would love to give it the chop but fomo keeps me on there.

Bit of a summary of the arguments against him here for anyone, like me, who has no intention of watching any of that video though

Can only agree about need for transparency re conflicts of interest.

Ah grand, I hate linking rumble because it's generally a load of unbelievable shit. Like I said I'm over the six hours of it watched over a few days and it's nuts, the web of whatever the fuck is going on there. The most amazing part is where the chap straight up says that handicapped people are subhuman and the fucking shit that the vaccine industry has actually gotten up to they're as bad as the fuckin US government or even worse for lying and doing shit things. Although no-one will watch it here, I honestly think it's worth the time. It's far worse than conflicts of interest and that becomes apparent very early into proceedings

Honestly, I get it by word of mouth or on here and maybe the odd bit on twitter. I never go on facebook either but I have an account so I can follow links now and again. I'm also interested in the answer to this, but I'm assuming you mean non-metal stuff as well?

Metal Storm website has a specific up-to-date list of new releases everyday.

I use FB too mostly just to see what is new or popular in various genre groups but still, ignoring the obvious (Twitter and Instagram) - word of mouth, friend recommendations, emails from Bandcamp of artists I follow releasing music, browsing genre tags on Bandcamp, looking up bands & artists playing the city that I see on posters/online, following full album youtube channels.  They would be the main ones

Yeah, the main reason I'm still on Facenook is for band updates. Bandcamp gives me a lot but there's also the few people for whom I have no other contact details...

Don't have facebook but one thing I do religiously on a Friday is visit the Plastic Head website and look through the new releases - though the PlasticHead website has been down for the past couple of weeks.

Also Invisable Oranges have a semi regular upcoming releases as well which sometimes points out something I didn't know about - https://www.invisibleoranges.com/umr-8132023-8192023/

Those two lists Anvil put up may be what I'm looking for. Any forum recommendations apart from this one?

Always makes me chuckle to myself when I look up something like, in this case, the Gorongosa National Park (watching a documentary on it) and one of the first informations Google gives is that it's almost closing time.

"Babe quick, get the little lad ready! We've only an hour to get to Mozambique!!!"

The Spanish translation of I, Claudius is called Yo, Claudio. This brought to mind Razor Ramon in ancient Rome.
